Access to Capital San Diego 2017-09-14T11:20:59+00:00

Over 100 small business owners learned  about traditional and alternative sources of funding, as well as crowdfunding, at the San Diego Access to Capital event on June 5th. Beginning with a continental breakfast, attendees milled about with steaming cups of coffee or tea, meeting each other and talking shop. By the time the panel started, the house was packed, so to speak; the few chairs available could have been filled by those who chose to stand.

Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. Credit Advisors educated business owners on the importance of business credit, and reviewed business credit profiles with all those requested such. Lenders rarely had a moment to themselves; any meeting slots that were still available the day of the event were quickly filled after the panel. At 2pm when the event ended, some lenders and attendees left still conversing, their heads leaned in, briefcases swinging loosely while they walked, talked, and thought.

The atmosphere in San Diego revitalized our vision for the Access to Capital events, making it clear that we need to continue taking these events to other cities across the nation.
