From The Board Ep 7 Coffee House Folk

Through smoke and haze, the aroma of cappuccino (there’s also espresso, if you prefer) and something that doesn’t smell like tobacco, is a dusty stage with a single microphone and a stool. A singer with bad skin and bad clothes is warbling an old folk song about a train ride through snowy mountains and hitchhiking on an empty highway. The folk singer is probably an English major from NYU, but who cares. For episode 7 of our “live” show From The Board we turn back the hands of time for a 2-hr sing-a-long – “live” acoustic folk and country, coffee house-style, with the ghosts of Greenwich Village.  There’s a table down front at the stage. Stay until the performance is over as a courtesy to the artist, and please drop a couple dimes in the tip jar at the side of the stage. Thanks…
